Privacy Policy

Anywear ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Anywear SAS, a company registered in France. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Anywear mobile application (the "App"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect the email address you provide for sign-up and login. This is stored and authenticated using Supabase.
Date of birth (optional). You may optionally provide your date of birth. If provided, we use it to personalize the App's recommendations (for example, tailoring style suggestions to your age group). Declining to provide it does not prevent you from creating an account or using the App's core features.
Usage data. We collect data about how you interact with the App — such as items you swipe, like, or skip. This data is stored via Supabase and processed by a recommendation algorithm running on Google Cloud Functions to power the App's suggestions.
Diagnostic and crash data. We use Firebase Crashlytics to automatically collect crash reports and diagnostic information (such as device model, operating system version, and app version) to help us identify and fix bugs.
Advertising data. We use Google AdMob to show non-personalized ads within the App. We do not use your data to build an advertising profile or personalize ads. AdMob may still collect limited technical data — such as IP address and device information — to serve ads, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud.

We do not access your camera or photo library.

3. Third-Party Services

We work with the following third-party providers, who process certain data on our behalf under their own privacy policies:

Your account and usage data are stored in the EU via Supabase. Some providers above (such as Google) may process data outside the EEA; where this occurs, they rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Your Choices

We serve non-personalized ads only — we do not use your data to build an advertising profile or personalize ads to you. AdMob may still use cookies or device identifiers for basic ad functions such as frequency capping (limiting how often you see the same ad) and measuring ad performance, but not for personalization. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us at the email below.

5. Your Rights (EU/EEA Users)

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at the email below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL) or your local supervisory authority.

6. Data Retention

You can delete your account and its associated data at any time directly within the App. You can also request deletion by contacting us at the email below. We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active; upon deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days of request, unless legal retention obligations apply.

7. Children's Privacy

Anywear is not directed to children and is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not verify the age of our users, but if we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child, we will delete it.
